Study a butterfly

  Hello and I am here again to present to you: How to study / catch a butterfly harmlessly. Below are the details of catching them.

  • Difficulty level: Medium
  • Most common place to find: A place where there are a lot of flowers, tall grasses and trees
  • Material for catching: Big round/ rectangular plastic transparent box
  • A sharp pencil
  • Skills needed: Stealth, ability to see small things easily (optional)
  • Best time for catch: Springtime
  Steps:

  1. Poke holes on lid
  2. Go to the venue of catch
  3. Find a small butterfly(for small box/jar) or a big butterfly(for big box/jar)
  4. Sneak over and place the box/jar over the butterfly with the butterfly in the center
  5. Quickly slam the box down. Make sure not to squash the butterfly.
  6. Wait until butterfly sticks to the box
  7. Quickly lift the box up and seal with lid
  8. Study for max. 1.30 mins
  9. Let butterfly free in the same place that you found it
